Buffer Fringe innovates once more with a collaborative and international structure for decision-making and support. BF 2022’s core organizing and creative team is made up of Buffer Fringe veterans, dramaturge and consultant Ellada Evangelou and Nihal Soğancı, with a background in social anthropology.
BF 2022 Curators are: Raffi Feghali, director and performer from Lebanon; Kat Kats, writer and dramaturg, and Bryce Ives, creator of performance-based work and artistic director, from Australia; Derya Ulubatlı, art historian, and Maria Varnakkidou, theatre director, from Cyprus.
The Festival’s Thinking Partners come from the International Community Arts Festival (Rotterdam): Jasmina Ibrahimovic (Bosnian-Dutch theatre director), Amy Gowen (curator and publisher from the Netherlands), and Anamaria Cruz (Colombian-Dutch cultural entrepreneur). The Thinking Partners program is supported by IMPACT.
